RemoteExec
RemoteExec is a very powerful tool for remotely updating your Microsoft
Windows systems. It allows you to run, remotely, the same program on
multiple computers in one pass, without any agent installed on target
machines.
Engagent announces Real-Time Security updates. With new vulnerabilities emerging on a
daily basis, patch management is getting harder and is becoming a major
administrative burden. The infamous Blaster worm spread so quickly and
broadly because IT personnel failed to apply a Microsoft patch in a timely
manner.
This can help you to update all your Windows computers. For example, you
can deploy Service Packs, patches, hotfixes, modify registries with .reg
files, and install Windows Installer Packages (.msi files) without ever
leaving your administration console.

RemoteExec also helps you to inform users about imminent events (server
shutdowns, power outages, etc.) with a better presentation than just Windows
pop-up message displays (e.g. you can display the message as an HTML page or
as a Microsoft Word document).
And, finally, RemoteExec helps you to shutdown all the computers on your
network before a power outage or close all user sessions on your network
after working hours to improve security.
